Andrew Painter undergoing tests on right elbow

Andrew Painter is set to undergo testing on his right elbow after experiencing stiffness in the elbow earlier in the week. (Todd Zolecki on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Phillies’ manager Rob Thomson did not reveal what type of testing Painter was undergoing. The 20-year-old did throw a bullpen session Wednesday but is not recovering the way the team anticipated from a partially torn UCL. It is possible that Tommy John surgery could be in play depending on the results of Painter’s tests.
