Fantasy Impact:
There's no word yet on what Abel's signing bonus is but the slot value for the 15th overall selection is $3.88 million. As a top prep pitcher one would figure the right-hander receives a deal worth slightly more than that. Like most minor leaguers this year, it's unclear how much game development Abel will receive.
