The Angels activated Kevin Pillar from the 10-day IL.

Fantasy Impact: Pillar will finish his career out before he is set to retire this offseason. He should see some playing time as early as this weekend.


The Rockies placed Tyler Kinley on the 15-day IL with right elbow inflammation.

Fantasy Impact: Kinley is officially done for the season. Jake Bird was recalled as the corresponding move.

Fantasy Impact: It is unclear what the reason is. They could be giving Bassitt an extra day of rest.

Fantasy Impact: Gausman left his start on Thursday after five scoreless innings. He should be able to make at least one start next week before the season is over.


Victor Robles is in the Mariners lineup on Friday against the Rangers.

Fantasy Impact: After leaving Wednesday's game early, Robles was originally in the lineup on Thursday before he was scratched. He'll make his return on the Friday with the Mariners looking to make a late playoff push.

Fantasy Impact: Encarnacion-Strand resumed baseball activities earlier in September. His role with the Reds remains unclear heading into next season.


The Reds are not expected to activate Andrew Abbott from the injured list.

Fantasy Impact: This comes after reports suggested that Abbott could return next week. He posted a 3.72 ERA across 25 starts this season.


Cody Poteet was activated from the injured list and was optioned to riple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Fantasy Impact: Poteet had been sidelined since the middle of June with a triceps injury.

Fantasy Impact: The move to the IL will officially end Wicks' season. The Cubs have recalled Trey Wingenter to take Wicks' place on the roster.


The Braves activated Ozzie Albies from the injured list.

Fantasy Impact: Albies is expected to only bat right-handed with his return. He has been sidelined since mid-July with a fractured left wrist.

The Nationals transferred Joan Adon to the 60-day IL.

Fantasy Impact: Adon had already been ruled out for the season. This was the corresponding move to Trevor Williams being activated from the injured list.


The Nationals activated Trevor Williams from the injured list.

Fantasy Impact: Williams is set to make his return to the mound on Friday. He has missed the past few months due to a flexor tendon strain.

Julian Merryweather is scheduled to undergo season-ending patellar tendon debridement surgery on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Merryweather had begun a rehab assignment, but will undergo surgery instead to officially end his season. He should be healthy by spring training.

Fantasy Impact: Soto suffered the injury after colliding into the wall Thursday. He should be considered day-to-day for now.

Fantasy Impact: Sims has been out of action for over three weeks with a right lat strain. He will rejoin the bullpen and likely see work in the middle innings.
