Fantasy Impact: This move doesn't come as a surprise after manager Rocco Baldelli indicated earlier this week that Kepler may not return this season. He was placed on the IL due to knee tendinitis but has also recently dealt with hip issues as well. He ends his 2024 season with a .253 average and a .682 OPS.

He looked set to return on Wednesday before the game was postponed, so hopefully the few extra days of rest did the star shortstop some good. Given the Mets' chase for a playoff spot, they will do everything they can to have Lindor in the lineup as much as possible going forward.

Fantasy Impact: This is yet another massive blow to the Orioles rotation, just one day after they clinched a playoff berth. Rodriguez has been out of action since August with a lat strain and had not progressed much in his rehab. The 24-year-old will end the season with a 3.86 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP in 20 starts.

Fantasy Impact: McArthur was placed on the injured list last week. Hunter Harvey was also ruled out for the season.
