Quarterback Sleepers: Geno Smith, Will Levis, Bryce Young (2024 Fantasy Football)

Quarterback is the most critical position on the field. If you pick the correct quarterback for fantasy football, you have a leg up on your competition. We all know about the Josh Allens and Jalen Hurts of the world, but who can sneak into the scene and become a top quarterback to help elevate our fantasy team?

Let’s break down some QB2s in our fantasy football draft rankings and help explain how they can be the golden ticket to help you win your league in 2024. Here are fantasy football draft sleepers to target at the quarterback position.

Fantasy Football Quarterback Sleepers & Draft Targets

Geno Smith (QB – SEA)

Geno Smith is another quarterback who has been at the top of his game. Two seasons ago, Smith was the QB5 overall. Last season, he slipped back to average, but his offense has changed with a new coaching scheme, and his weapons are an embarrassment of riches. Any quarterback who can throw to DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker can make noise during the NFL season.

Will Levis (QB – TEN)

Will Levis fired onto the scene with four touchdown passes against the Atlanta Falcons. However, after that game, he struggled a bit to finish the season. The Tennesee Titans went into this offseason and decided to build around the young quarterback. The Titans added Calvin Ridley to a core that already included DeAndre Hopkins. They also added Tyler Boyd to the team and still have young and hopeful Treylon Burks in the wings. The Titans didn’t finish there, as they added Tony Pollard to join Tyjae Spears in the backfield. Combine all these weapons with an easy strength of schedule for Will Levis, and you have an opportunity to truly explode onto the scene this season.

Bryce Young (QB – CAR)

There is nothing I can say about last year that will make you feel good about yourself drafting Bryce Young. Instead, we will need to write a story of a narrative that we will encounter in 2024. We have the Carolina Panthers signing a new coach in Dave Canales. Remember Geno Smith from earlier? Remember how we said he was a top-five quarterback last season? Want to take a swing at who his offensive coordinator was? That’s right, it was Dave Canales. Next, remember the resurgence of Baker Mayfield last year? Who was the puppeteer pulling the string of the quarterback? Once again, that was Dave Canales. Now, he has Bryce Young as his new project, and his hands may be full with this woeful offensive line, but the light is at the end of the tunnel.

The Panthers brought in Diontae Johnson, who is one of the best route-running wide receivers in the game. This addition will help with a receiving core last season that couldn’t separate from their defender. The Panthers didn’t finish there as they drafted Xavier Legette, a yards-after-catch (YAC) machine. They also drafted Jonathon Brooks to add to the backfield. Suddenly, Bryce Young has a new combination of players to help elevate him this season. Young also gets to face the second-easiest strength of schedule in the NFL. With the Panthers playing from behind in the majority of the games, Young should have plenty of passing attempts to help elevate your fantasy football team.
