The reports out of Lions camp this offseason have suggested that Williams is expected to take on a bigger role this season. He is likely to remain the primary deep threat for the Lions offense this season.

San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy has been working on adding velocity to his passes this offseason.

Fantasy Impact

Purdy spent time this offseason perfecting mechanics to help him add speed to his throws. Given that he did not have to rehab or fight for a roster spot this offseason, Purdy had the chance to work on improving his own game for the first time in his career. He also used the offseason to add some necessary weight to his frame to help him last through the difficulties of an NFL season. Purdy could continue to thrive in San Fran’s offense in 2024, being drafted on average as the QB11, according to FantasyPros data.

Davis Allen figures to have ‘significant part’ offensively
Second-year TE Davis Allen, a 2023 draft selection, is set to play a “significant part” in the Rams offense, says The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue.

Fantasy Impact

Allen had a limited statistical output in his rookie year, catching 10 passes for 95 yards and a score, but he did see time on the field. He played 19% of offensive snaps and 26% of special teams snaps. Head coach Sean McVay prioritized TE depth in the offseason which could indicate further emphasis on multi-TE sets, which could lead to a role for Allen, albeit potentially not a fantasy-relevant one.
