Rams GM Les Snead said the plan is to have Stetson Bennett participate in the team’s offseason workouts.

Bennett has been on the reserve/non-football illness list since early September. With Matt Stafford dealing with a thumb injury, Sean McVay and the Rams will likely have to bring in another quarterback should Stafford be unable to suit up on Sunday.

The rookie has a shoulder injury of some kind that will force him to miss the team's Week 1 matchup against the Seahawks. It's unclear how severe of an injury it is, and the team is presumably evaluating him week-to-week. Brett Rypien will likely serve as the backup to Matthew Stafford while Bennett is out on Sunday.
