Despite the Green Bay Packers' heart-wrenching 25-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, 25-year-old wide receiver Samori Toure had a relatively quiet game.

Fantasy Impact

Toure was targeted twice, managing to reel in just one of those passes for a modest gain of 6 yards. This performance brings his season totals to 3 receptions on 5 targets for 24 yards, still without finding the end zone. Toure's fantasy impact remains minimal. His most notable play came in the third quarter when he made a 6-yard catch, but an illegal formation penalty in the fourth quarter marred his performance. Looking ahead to Week 3, Toure and the Packers will face off against the New Orleans Saints, where he'll look to make a more significant impact.

Toure is already off to a great start when you look at his 2022 numbers, which saw the 25-year-old log five receptions in 11 games. Toure will likely not have much fantasy value this season, so fantasy managers can confidently leave him on the waiver wire.

Samori Toure had two catches for 34 yards on four targets in the 15-9 loss to the Lions. He had a shot at a long touchdown but the pass was slightly underthrown and tipped away by the defender at the last second.

Fantasy Impact

Toure has seen four targets in back-to-back games and appears to be the top deep threat for the Packers right now. The rookie wideout may need to get even more involved with both Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson leaving this game due to injury. The Packers will be at home to face the Cowboys in Week 10.

Samori Toure was targeted four times on Sunday night catching just one ball but it was a big one that went for a 37-yard touchdown. Toure made a good adjustment to his route to break open for Aaron Rodgers to find him in the end zone.

Fantasy Impact

With Allen Lazard out and Sammy Watkins ineffective, Toure became the second wide receiver option for Rodgers. The rookie couldn't hang onto a couple of balls earlier in the game but made a splash play which the Packers' offense has sorely missed. If Lazard remains out, Toure has likely earned a bigger role in the offense heading into Week 9 against the Lions.
