Roschon Johnson
RB - Chicago Bears
2024 Outlook
Roschon Johnson rushed for 21 yards and one touchdown on seven carries during the Bears' 37-17 win over the Falcons in Week 17. He also caught all three of his targets for an additional 38 yards through the air.
Fantasy Impact
Between his rushing touchdown and key receptions, Johnson was able to turn in another solid fantasy showing on Sunday. He'll sneak into the RB3/FLEX tier for Week 18 and could be a worthwhile selection in fantasy drafts next summer.
Roschon Johnson ran for 37 yards on nine carries in the Bears' 27-16 win over the Cardinals. He also caught 3-of-3 targets for an additional 16 yards through the air.
Fantasy Impact
With D'Onta Foreman sidelined, Khalil Herbert took over as the workhorse with Johnson playing in a change-of-pace role behind him. If Foreman remains sidelined next week, Johnson could be an upside flex play with some risk.
Roschon Johnson rushed for 36 yards on five carries and caught 4-of-6 targets for 24 yards in the Bears' 20-17 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
A week after receiving just a single touch, Johnson led the Bears backfield. It's a frustrating reality for fantasy managers who may be desperate for a running back starter, as the Bears' rotation is not predictable. Hopefully, they decide who to lean on during the final few games of the season, potentially giving the rookie more run to see what they have in him. But we can only speculate.
Roschon Johnson rushed once for six yards in the Bears' 28-13 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact
Johnson continues to receive modest volume in the Chicago backfield of late, finishing with less than 30 total offensive yards in three of his last five games for the Bears. The rookie running back offers plenty of upside, but will need to receive increased volume to offer any sort of reliable value to fantasy managers ahead of a tough Week 15 contest against the Cleveland Browns.
Roschon Johnson carried the ball 10 times for 35 yards and added five receptions for 40 yards in a 12-10 win over the Vikings in Week 12.
Fantasy Impact
Johnson out-touched starter Khalil Herbert 15-to-8 in the Monday night win as it appears that he may be posed to take over the Chicago backfield moving forward. The Bears used a fourth-round pick on Johnson in the 2023 draft and will likely look to get him more touches coming out of their Week 13 bye. He is a solid waiver add this week.
