Darius Slayton
WR - New York Giants
2024 Outlook
Darius Slayton has not reported to the New York Giants' voluntary workouts this week as he seeks a contract extension. He signed a two-year, 12.2 million dollar extension with the team prior to last season.
Fantasy Impact
Slayton has been the Giants' leading receiver in four of the past five seasons. He's been a consistent performer for this team despite being part of many inconsistent offences. With a very underwhelming WR depth chart as it currently stands, the Giants can ill-afford to lose Slayton. They'll be inclined to get this move done sooner rather than later.
Darius Slayton brought down 4 of 6 targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Impact
Slayton continued his late-season surge on Sunday, as he scored for the second week in a row and recorded his first 100-yard game of the campaign. Over the last three weeks, Slayton has totaled 11 catches for 259 yards and two scores. He's unquestionably the top threat at wide receiver for the Giants right now.
Darius Slayton caught all three of his targets for 90 yards and a touchdown in a 33-25 loss to the Eagles in Week 16.
Fantasy Impact
Slayton hauled in a 69-yard touchdown from Tyrod Taylor in the fourth quarter. On the play he caught a deep pass down the left sideline and stiff-armed his defender on the way to the end zone. Slayton has been productive over his past two games, catching seven passes for 153 yards and a touchdown. He will be a flex option in Week 17 against the Rams.
Darius Slayton caught four of his eight targets for 63 yards in a 24-6 loss to the Saints in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
Slayton led the Giants in receiving yards and targets while tying for the lead in receptions, as well. The 63-yard game was certainly unexpected as Slayton had combined for just 30 receiving yards in his previous two games. He will be a low-end flex in Week 16 against the Eagles.
Darius Slayton caught 2-of-2 targets for 14 yards in the Giants' 24-22 win over Green Bay.
Fantasy Impact
Slayton had a big game in the first start Tommy DeVito made with 82 yards and a touchdown, but has only caught two passes each of the last two games. He remains in the WR4 conversation.
