Calvin Austin III
WR - Pittsburgh Steelers
2024 Outlook
Calvin Austin III caught his lone targets for five yards in the Steelers’ 16-10 win over the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact
Austin continues to see limited targets in the Steelers’ offense. Head coach Mike Tomlin also indicated that Austin suffered an ankle injury. Fantasy managers will want to monitor his status heading into a Week 13 matchup with the Cardinals.
Calvin Austin III failed to catch his only target and gained 10 yards on two carries in Thursday's 20-16 win over the Titans.
Fantasy Impact
Austin continues to accomplish very little for the Steelers' offense. The young wide receiver has not seen more than two targets or two carries in any of the last four games. He's off the redraft radar for now.
Calvin Austin III caught both of his targets for 19 yards and gained 10 yards on two carries in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
The Steelers are still making efforts to utilize Austin's big-play ability in their offense, but the second-year receiver has not really made much of an impact since Week 3. The volume simply is not there for Austin to be a reliable contributor for fantasy purposes. However, he is probably worth hanging onto in deeper dynasty formats.
Calvin Austin III hauled in three of five targets for 24 yards in the Steelers' 30-6 loss to the Texans. He also rushed for five yards.
Fantasy Impact
Austin has seen increased volume with Diontae Johnson (hamstring) sidelined, though he hasn't been involved enough to justify rostering him in traditional 12-team leagues. He ranks as a WR6 for Week 5 versus Baltimore.
Calvin Austin III caught two of six targets for 72 yards and one touchdown in the Steelers' 23-18 win over the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Austin put together a big fantasy performance thanks to his 72-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter. He is a low-floor, high-ceiling player who can't be trusted on your roster quite yet.
