Bo Horvat was able to light the lamp for the Islanders Friday night, scoring the game-winning goal in a 3-2 win over the Devils.

Fantasy Impact: Horvat has been fairly reliable in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in three of his last five games for the Islanders. The 29-year-old should remain a primary option for head coach Patrick Roy in the offensive zone as the season continues, notching four points (three goals, one assist) in seven games so far this season.

Anthony Duclair scored a third-period goal from a wrist shot during a big 6-2 win in Colorado. He also had two shots on goal and finished with a plus-two rating in 14:19 minutes of ice time.

Fantasy Impact: In three games this season Duclair has two goals, one assist, and a plus-one rating. Last year he split his time between San Jose and Tampa Bay scoring 24 goals and 18 assists.

Ilya Sorokin stopped 32-of-34 shots during a 6-2 win in Colorado. It was the first start of the season for Sorokin after having offseason back surgery.

Fantasy Impact: Sorokin returned to form in the net against Colorado one of the top offenses in the league. Last year he made 56 appearances going 25-19-12 with a 3.01 GAA and .909 SV%.

Kyle Palmieri recorded two assists Friday night in the Islanders' 5-4 overtime loss to the Devils.

Fantasy Impact: Palmieri is off to a sizzling start to the season for the Islanders, registering points in each of the first three contests of the season for the club. The veteran forward will look to revisit the fountain of youth for fantasy managers, with a return to his New Jersey form to begin the season offering plenty of upside.

Semyon Varlamov allowed five goals on 27 shots faced in the Islanders' 5-1 loss to the Capitals.

Fantasy Impact: Varlamov has struggled in net of late for the Islanders, allowing four or more goals in five of his last nine starts (3-5-1, .888 save percentage) for the club. The veteran backup netminder has been mostly reliable when asked to spell No. 1 goaltender Ilya Sorokin this season, carrying a 2.79 GAA and .910 save percentage in 21 starts (11-8-2) so far this season.

Zach Parise was able to light the lamp for the Islanders Wednesday night, scoring the team's lone goal in a 4-1 loss to the Bruins.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau tallied one assist Friday night in the Islanders' 4-1 loss to the Flames.

Fantasy Impact: Pageau has now notched points in five of his last 10 games for the Islanders, picking up eight points (three goals, five assists) in that span. The 30-year-old continues to be a solid presence on both ends of the ice under head coach Lane Lambert, posting a 0.59 point per game average (10 goals, 14 assists) in 41 games so far this season.

The 22-year-old winger has a bright future and will continue to progress as he sees more ice time under head coach Lane Lambert, tallying 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 27 games so far this season.

Adam Pelech was able to tickle twine for the Islanders Saturday night, scoring one goal in a 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Pelech has posted points in five of his last 10 games for the Islanders, scoring three goals and adding three assists to go along with a +4 plus/minus. The 28-year-old blueliner carries a 0.43 point per game (three goals, seven assists) to go along with a +12 plus/minus in 23 games so far this season.

Josh Bailey notched one assist Saturday night in the Islanders' 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Bailey has struggled to get going so far this season for the Islanders, picking up points in five of his last 12 games (two goals, three assists). The 33-year-old is part of a veteran-laden forward group that is looking to generate scoring chances on a more consistent basis under new head coach Lane Lambert, scoring just four goals and adding three assists for seven points in 20 games so far this season.

Anthony Beauvillier posted two points for the Islanders Saturday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Beauvillier has struggled early in the season to make much of an impact consistently, picking up points in just two of his last 12 games (two goals, one assist). The 25-year-old offers little more than occasional point production while doing plenty of things well that do not necessarily end up on the stat sheet. Beauvillier has scored five goals and added five assists for 10 points in 22 games so far this season.

Ryan Pulock tallied four assists Saturday night in the Islanders' 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Pulock snapped a four-game pointless drought in a big way Saturday night, assisting on four of the team's five goals in a game the Flyers had no answers for the Islanders attack. The 28-year-old blueliner has been solid so far this season, posting a +10 plus/minus to go along with 11 points (one goal, 10 assists) in 23 games so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Defenseman Thomas Hickey was called up from Bridgeport to fill the void in the Islanders' defense.

Andy Greene recorded an assist in Game 6 versus the Lightning. It was his first point in a while.

Fantasy Impact: Greene has been in the league for 15 years. At this point, he should only be owned in deeper leagues.

Scott Mayfield scored a key goal in Game 6 versus the Lightning. His goal tied the game in the third period which helped the Islanders to make it to overtime where they won.

Fantasy Impact: Mayfield is not much of a fantasy asset and tallied 15 points in the regular season. Unless you are in a deep league, you can probably find someone else on your waiver wire.

Jordan Eberle scored a goal versus the Lightning in Game 6. The goal started the comeback from down 2-0 toward the 3-2 overtime win.

Fantasy Impact: Eberle has been a solid contributor for a long time. He produced 33 points in the regular season.
