Ryan Strome scores two goals in Friday's loss to Oilers

Ryan Strome was able to light the lamp for the Ducks Friday night, scoring two goals in a 5-3 loss to the Oilers.

Fantasy Impact

Strome has struggled to make much of an impact in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in just two of his last nine games (three goals) for the Ducks. The center has operated as more of an agitator on the ice for a young Anaheim forward group, picking up 36 hits and 63 penalty minutes to go along with just 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 48 games so far this season.

Ryan Strome delivers three points in loss

Ryan Strome added assists 23 and 24 while scoring his 15th goal of the season in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Coyotes.

Fantasy Impact

Strome has been on pace for a 41-point campaign since week one, and it seems like he will finish right about there after the season wraps up. Strome does not offer a lot of upside but he also does not have a low floor. He is a very average producer for any format of Fantasy Hockey, and does not need to be rostered at this time.

Ryan Strome stays hot with another goal

Ryan Strome scored his 14th goal of the season in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.

Fantasy Impact

The veteran has three goals in his last five games. On the year, he has 22 assists to give him 36 on the year. He has been quite the average player this year, and average does not help in many formats. You are better off chasing upside on the waiver wire, but if you feel like Strome will stay hot to close out the season, he is not the worst pickup right now. Though do not be afraid to cut bait once he inevitably cools off.

Ryan Strome lights the lamp in loss

Ryan Strome scored his 12th goal of the season in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Canucks.

Fantasy Impact

Strome added his third point in his last five games, which has been close to his ceiling this season. For every 10 games, Strome is going to give you around five points. He's up to 34 in 69 games, and is about as average as they come at the center position. Leave him on the waiver wire in your league and chase upside elsewhere in the homestretch of the season.

Ryan Strome adds one of each in win

Ryan Strome added his 22nd assist and scored his 12th goal of the season in Friday's 7-4 win over the Blue Jackets.

Fantasy Impact

Strome is now up to 34 points in 69 games this season. The veteran should finish with around 40 points on the year, and he simply does not have the upside to be anything more than a streamer on a light schedule. Keep him on the waiver wire in your league.
