Fantasy Impact
This was a nice night for Mikkel Boedker and while he might provide some fantasy value in the occasional spot start going forward, his third line usage isn't enough to make him an everyday fantasy asset.
Mikkel Boedker got his 7th assist on Max Lajoie’s first period power play goal in the Senators 4-3 overtime loss on Sunday night.
Fantasy Impact
Mikkel Boedker has 2 goals and 7 assists through 14 games this season. Boedker will be a depth player at best until he can get on one of the Senators top two even strength lines. Boedker is on the second power play unit. It’s never been a question of skill but rather health and consistency for Boedker. Boedker is a decent deep league play and possibly more with a better line assignment.
Mikkel Boedker assisted on Max McCormick’s second period goal in the Senators loss on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Mikkel Boedker grabbed his 6th assist of the season , on Saturday, to go along with 2 goals through 13 games. Boedker has had a career marred with injuries and thus has never lived up to his first round selection. Boedker is only getting third even strength and second power play unit duty so he should get some scoring opportunities. That being said Boedker is on a unsteady yet surprisingly decent Senators team so his ceiling is questionable. Best bet, if healthy, is 40 points and a decent deep league player.
Mikkel Boedker scored on a goal assisted by Colin White in the Senators 4-3 victory over the Canadiens on Saturday night.
Fantasy Impact
Mikkel Boedker has always been a tantalizing talent . The speedy Dane , a former eight overall pick, has reached a career high of fifty one points with the Coyotes in 2013-2014. That all being said, Boedker is off to a strong start in his first season with the Senators. Boedker has two goals and four assists through seven games and is on the top even strength line with enigmatic Bobby Ryan and Matt Duchene. This could be Boedker’s best season in years and forty-five points isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. Boedker is a deep league add and stash.
Mikkel Boedker recorded the lone assist on the second San Jose goal of the game.
Fantasy Impact
He finished the regular season with 37 points and is a decent option.
