Pacioretty has a nose for the net of late, scoring goals in two gf his last three games for the Maple Leafs. The veteran forward will look to provide fantasy managers with a reliable option in lineups after two injury-ravaged seasons, posting two points (two goals) in four games so far this season.

It was a decent debut for Pacioretty, who was not on a set line in this one and instead skated with multiple combinations of linemates throughout the evening. Pacioretty has a chance to be a game-changer in the second half of the season for both the Hurricanes and Fantasy Hockey players. If he is available in your league, pick him up, regardless of the format or league size.

Pacioretty has yet to suit up for the Hurricanes after undergoing surgery for an Achilles tear on Aug. 10. Acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights this summer, Pacioretty notched 37 points in 39 games last season and posted 154 points over 158 games over the last three seasons. As long as he's healthy, he's a point-per-game player with a boatload of shots on goal and should be on every fantasy roster when he gets into the Hurricanes' lineup.
