Justin Abdelkader scored a goal in the Red Wings 5-4 loss to the Lightning on Thursday. He had one goal on four SOG in 13:24 of ice time. He now has six goals and 13 assists thru 71 games played.

Fantasy Impact

Abdelkader is not fantasy relevant. He is however seeing more ice-time because the Red Wings are sitting everybody with any injury. He should be left on all waiver wires.

Fantasy Impact

Abdelkader is on a heater. He still is not ownable in any format. This will not keep up because Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterburg are no longer his linemates. His best years occurred when he played with some of the most talented players in the league and now he is just playing out the contract.
