Vatrano has been impactful in the offensive zone of late, notching points in eight of his last 12 games (four goals, six assists) for the Ducks. The winger has been one of the more reliable forward options as part of an inexperienced Anaheim squad, tallying 38 points (22 goals, 16 assists) to go along with 97 hits and 55 penalty minutes in 51 games so far this season.

The veteran is up to 22 goals on the season now, which is a great number for someone on a team as non-competitive as the Ducks. A 41-point campaign is nothing to write home about, but there were times when Vatrano was worthy of being rostered, and made for a solid DFS play. He is not a priority to close out the season but if he winds up on a new team next season, he may be a solid sleeper.

While 36 points in 72 games is solid production, he simply does not have the upside or the talent around him to contribute enough offensively. Leave him on the waiver wire to close out the season.

He should finish the year with 40 points, but does not need to be rostered to close out the Fantasy season. Keep him on the waiver wire unless you need a late-night streaming option later in the week.
