Fowler ends the year on a four-game assist streak, finishing with 10 goals and 38 assists in 82 games. This was about all the Ducks could ask for and then some. A veteran playing every single game for a rebuilding team, and actually having a great year, was unexpected, to say the least. Fowler was one of the few Ducks worth rostering in all formats by season's end, along with Trevor Zegras and Troy Terry. If the Ducks improve the roster for next season and still give Fowler a good portion of the ice time he saw this year, he will be a more than serviceable sleeper defenceman heading into 2023-2024.

Fowler has had an extremely solid season for the rebuilding Ducks. He is up to 10 goals and 33 assists on the year, and the veteran has officially set a new career high in points. He may finish the year with 50, but regardless, this type of production out of nowhere has been tremendous. If you are in need of a defenceman to close out the Fantasy season, ensure Fowler is not available in your league.

Fowler has been dominant since the Ducks resumed play after the All-star break. He has two goals and 13 assists in his last thirteen games, and on the year he has 41 points in 67 games. Those numbers make him quite serviceable in virtually every format. If he is still available in your league, it is worth adding him if you need help on defence. This kind of production is hard to find this late in the season, but because he plays for the lowly Ducks, he may not get the respect he deserves and could be overlooked.

Fowler has a helper in three straight games and two goals and nine assists in his last nine games. He has truly been a difference maker on the blue line for the Ducks this year, and since the end of 2022, has been a solid contributor in all formats of Fantasy Hockey. While he is best kept for deeper leagues, his production justifies a spot in shallower formats in which you need help on defence. Add him if you are struggling in that department.

The veteran is on fire right now, with seven points in his last five games. He has been one of the few bright spots in Anaheim this season. With 33 points in 59 games, he should be a lock to eclipse 40 points this year, which is solid production for a defenceman in any format. If you are desperate for help on the blue line, give Fowler a chance on your team.
