Availability

Brent Seabrook's season is over

Brent Seabrook underwent shoulder surgery and is out the remainder of the season. He will also need to undergo two hip surgeries in the coming months. He has been placed on LTIR.

Fantasy Impact

It is safe to assume that Seabrook has suited up for the last time. Although he is a warrior and will try his best to come back hip surgeries are death sentences for NHLer's especially in their mid 30's.

Brent Seabrook lights the lamp

Brent Seabrook scored a powerplay goal in the Blackhawks 3-2 overtime loss to the Jets on Saturday. He had one goal on one SOG in 18:39 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Seabrook showed that he may have lost his legs over the years but he still has a shot. He could continue to be useful because the hawks need him on the powerplay. He should also see a fair amount of ice-time night in and night out. He is a bottom of the roster defensemen in most fantasy league.
