Andrew Ladd found the back of the net in Arizona's 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday. He finished the game with a goal, an even-rating, two PIMs, one shots, one block and three hits.

His goal came on the man advantage. He made a nifty move at the point to get clear, skated into the slot and let a wrister go that beat Marc-Andre Fleury. The Desert Dogs lost the game and have one win on the season.

Andrew Ladd scored a goal in the Coyotes 5-2 loss to the Wild on Wednesday night. He was a plus two with one goal, one SOG and one hit in 13:32 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Ladd's best days are way behind him. He was once an important piece on a couple of Stanley Cup winning teams. He should consider hanging up the skates at this point it is almost sad to watch him play at such a low level.

Andrew Ladd's goal on Tuesday night was his first of the season in Ladd's fourth game played for the Islanders this year. Unless something drastic changes Ladd should not be viewed as playable in fantasy.

According to NY Islanders GM, Lou Lamoriello, Andrew Ladd is back to skating on the ice. He underwent knee surgery to repair a torn ACL back in late May.

Ladd is in a race to be ready for the start of the season. He will likely be eased into action, but could be a candidate for 30+ points if he can stay on the ice.

Andrew Ladd has played a lot of his season on the bottom lines so it’s no wonder his point totals are not too impressive. But, going into Tuesday’s night his line assignment has improved with a move to the second line with Jordan Eberle and Brock Nelson. In the game, Ladd got an assist to bring his season totals to 3 goals and 4 assists through 14 games. Ladd may be worth monitoring to see how his new line assignment effects his point totals. At this point, Ladd is only worth owning in the deepest of leagues.
