Evgeni Malkin posted one assist in the Penguins' 6-3 loss to the Islanders Saturday night.

Malkin has heated up in the offensive zone of late, posting points in four of his last five games (one goal, four assists) for the Penguins. The veteran center has been one of the few reliable options in an inconsistent Pittsburgh lineup to this point, tallying 30 points (seven goals, 23 assists) in 37 games so far this season.
