Dawson Mercer was able to tickle the twine for the Devils Friday night, scoring one goal in a 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.

Mercer continues a solid stretch in the offensive zone, notching points in three of his last six games (three goals, two assists) for the Devils. The center has struggled to offer consistent production in a talented New Jersey lineup, posting just 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) to go along with 27 blocked shots and 19 hits in 38 games so far this season.
