Bowen Byram notched one assist in the Sabres' 3-2 loss to the Rangers Wednesday night.

Byram continues an inconsistent stretch in the offensive zone, posting points in four of his last eight games (one goal, four assists) for the Sabres. The defenseman is one of many underwhelming options in the Buffalo lineup, recording 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) while also notching 35 blocked shots and 27 hits in 29 games so far this season.
