Jacob Markstrom was stellar between the pipes for the Devils Monday night, stopping 38 of 39 shots faced in a 5-1 win over the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Markstrom has offered mixed results in net of late, allowing less than three goals in four of his last seven starts (5-2-0) for the Devils. The veteran netminder has been the perfect offseason addition for a New Jersey squad looking to return to the postseason, posting a .907 save percentage and 2.54 GAA in 19 starts (12-6-1, one shutout) in the crease so far this season.
