Jacob Markstrom was solid in net for the Devils Monday night, stopping 20 of 22 shots faced in a 5-2 win over the Predators.
Fantasy Impact:
Markstrom has been mostly reliable guarding the crease of late, allowing less than three goals in four of his last seven starts (5-2-0) for the Devils. The netminder has solidified the goaltending issues that plagued the Devils last season, carrying a 2.51 GAA and .907 save percentage in 16 starts (10-5-1, one shutout) between the pipes so far this season.
