Evgeni Malkin scored a goal and had two assists during a 6-3 win versus Montreal. His third-period empty net goal was the 499th of his career. Aside from his three-point night he also finished with a plus-two rating in 18:20 minutes of ice time.
Fantasy Impact:
It's been a good start to the season for Malkin posting seven points (one goal and six assists) in four games. Last year in 82 games he recorded 27 goals and 40 assists with a plus-five rating.
