Alex Nedeljkovic solid in net Friday against Panthers
by Chris Schommer | Penguins Correspondent | Sat, Jan 27th 3:54pm EST
Alex Nedeljkovic was solid in net for the Penguins Friday night, stopping 29 of 31 shots faced in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact:
Nedeljkovic has been mostly reliable between the pipes of late, allowing less than three goals in four of his last six starts (3-1-1) for the Penguins. The netminder continues to fight issues with consistency in the crease, but has made the most of his role as the No. 2 goaltender behind Tristan Jarry for head coach Mike Sullivan, carrying a 2.60 GAA and .918 save percentage in 16 appearances (8-3-3) so far this season.
