Elvis Merzlikins was shelled between the pipes for the Blue Jackets Tuesday night, allowing six goals on 46 shots faced in a 6-3 loss to the Lightning.
Fantasy Impact:
Merzlikins has struggled in net of late for the Blue Jackets, allowing more than three goals in six of his last eight starts (2-6-0, .869 save percentage) for the club. The 28-year-old netminder has been an absolute disappointment for fantasy owners to this point, carrying an atrocious 4.62 GAA and .865 save percentage in 17 appearances (4-11-0) in the crease so far this season.
