Boone Jenner was able to light the lamp for the Blue Jackets Friday night, scoring one goal in a 7-4 loss to the Ducks.

Fantasy Impact: Jenner has been steady in the offensive zone of late for the Blue Jackets, notching points in six of his last 12 games (seven goals, three assists) for the club. The 29-year-old has offered fantasy owners a decent option on most nights, recording 40 points (23 goals, 17 assists) in 57 games so far this season.

Johnny Gaudreau tallied one assist in the Blue Jackets' 7-4 loss to the Ducks Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Gaudreau has registered points in five of his last 10 games for the Blue Jackets, scoring two goals and picking up nine assists in that span. The 29-year-old winger has returned to form after a brutal start to the season for fantasy owners, posting 63 points (17 goals, 46 assists) in 66 games so far this season.

Patrik Laine notched two points for the Blue Jackets Friday night, scoring one goal and picking up one assist in a 7-4 loss to the Ducks.

Fantasy Impact: Laine has stayed hot in the offensive zone of late for the Blue Jackets, posting points in seven of his last eight games (five goals, five assists) for the club. The 24-year-old winger continues to flash dynamic abilities when on the ice for a rebuilding Columbus squad, tallying 48 points (22 goals, 26 assists) in 53 games so far this season.

Elvis Merzlikins allowed three goals on 34 shots faced in the Blue Jackets' 4-2 loss to the Kraken Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Merzlikins has struggled in the crease of late for the Blue Jackets, allowing three or more goals in each of his last 11 starts (3-6-2, .898 save percentage) for the club. The 28-year-old netminder has not been a viable option for fantasy owners for much of the season, posting an abysmal 4.40 GAA and .880 save percentage in 27 starts (7-16-2) in net so far this season.

Adam Boqvist notched two points for the Blue Jackets Friday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 4-2 loss to the Kraken.

Fantasy Impact: Boqvist has been strong in the offensive zone of late for the Blue Jackets, tallying points in six of his last eight games (three goals, five assists) for the club. The 22-year-old blueliner will look to continue his strong play of late, scoring three goals and adding 15 assists for 18 points in 29 games so far this season.

Kirill Marchenko was able to find the back of the net for the Blue Jackets Saturday, scoring two goals in a 6-5 win over the Oilers.

Fantasy Impact: Marchenko has offered little in the offensive zone of late for the Blue Jackets, picking up points in five of his last 13 games (seven goals, one assist) for the club. The 22-year-old offers explosive finishing ability around the net, but has yet do so on a consistent basis for fantasy owners, scoring 16 goals and picking up one assist for 17 points in 36 games so far this season.

Jack Roslovic posted four points for the Blue Jackets Saturday, scoring two goals and picking up two assists in a 6-5 win over the Oilers.

Fantasy Impact: Roslovic has picked up points in five of his last 10 games for the Blue Jackets, scoring two goals and adding six assists in that span. The 26-year-old has not been a viable option for fantasy owners to this point, scoring six goals and adding 28 assists for 34 points in 56 games so far this season.

Kent Johnson picked up one assist in the Blue Jackets' 6-5 win over the Oilers Saturday.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson has struggled in the offensive zone of late for the Blue Jackets, notching points in just four of his last 10 games (three goals, two assists) for the club. The 20-year-old has yet to offer production on a consistent basis for fantasy owners despite a promising future in Columbus, recording just 28 points (12 goals, 16 assists) in 56 games so far this season.

Joonas Korpisalo allowed three goals on 41 shots faced in the Blue Jackets' 3-0 loss to the Maple Leafs Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Korpisalo has allowed three or more goals in four of his last five starts (1-2-2) in net for the Blue Jackets, posting a .905 save percentage in that span. The 28-year-old netminder has not offered much value while backing up Elvis Merzlikins this season, carrying a 3.33 GAA and .907 save percentage in 24 appearances (8-10-3) so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Slated in as Elvis Merzlikins' backup, it's Tarasov that starts the team's season opener with Merzliklins unavailable with an illness. The 23-year-old has just four games of NHL experience but held his own with a 2.40 GAA and .937 Sv% in that time last season despite going winless in the process.

Fantasy Impact: Once a fantasy stud, Neal has struggled to keep his footing at the NHL level of late. The former 40-goal winger split last season between the St. Louis Blues and their AHL affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds, tallying just two goals and four points across 19 NHL contests. He could earn further NHL interest based on a productive 14 goals and 26 points across 28 games at the AHL level last season.

Fantasy Impact: Known more for his defensive work than his offense, Peeke recorded just two goals and 15 points while skating in all 82 games a season ago. However, he also recorded 169 blocks and 191 hits, ranking sixth and tied for 31st in those categories, respectively.

Nick Blankenburg made his NHL debut Wednesday versus the Canadiens and finished with a plus-one rating, one assist, one hit and five blocked shots in 16:46 of ice time.

Fantasy Impact: Blankenburg signed a one year, entry level deal on Friday before making his first start this week. The 23 year old is listed at only 5'9" 174lbs so hopefully he can bring over his offensive play from college.

Gustav Nyquist tallied his 28th and 29th assists on the year to help Columbus to a 5-1 win over Montreal.

Fantasy Impact: Nyquist recorded his second multi-assist game in a row brining his point total to 46 in 74 games played this season. The 32 year old has had a solid second year with Columbus and is eight points shy of his career high.

Vladislav Gavrikov had a shorthanded assisted on the Blue Jackets lone goal in the first period as Columbus lost 4-1 at home to the Flyers.

Fantasy Impact: Gavrikov is having his best season as a pro with career highs in goals(5), assists(26) and points(31) in a single season high 70 games played. Fantasy managers who picked him up off waivers early in the season have been rewarded with solid stats for a defenseman.

Zach Werenski recorded an assist on teammate Carson Meyer's first career NHL goal as Columbus won 4-2 in Philadelphia.

Fantasy Impact: Werenski is up to 33 assists, 44 points, 205 shots on goal, 31 hits and 88 blocked shots in 62 games played this season. He's a great fantasy defenseman in all league formats.

Voracek added his first helper to Emil Bemstrom for the first goal of the game and later picked up his second helper to Zach Werenski to tie the game at two to close the second period. Patrik Lane was also in with a secondary assist for his 27th of the season. Columbus couldn’t score the rest of the way and went on to lose 3-2 in overtime.

Fantasy Impact: Voracek moves to 46 assists and now has 51 points in 67 games-played. Columbus has now lost all three games against the Bruins this season.

Oliver Bjorkstrand tallied his 22nd goal of the season in a 7-2 loss to Washington. He finished with a -3 rating and seven SOG.

Fantasy Impact: Bjorkstrand continues to produce for the Jackets. He has six points in his last five games and 46 points in 60 games.

Max Domi tallied his 23rd assist of the season in a 7-2 loss to the Capitals. He finished with a -1 rating and three SOG.

Fantasy Impact: Domi has points in three of his last five games. The center has 32 points in 52 games, but is likely a bench option at best right now.
