Jared Spurgeon recorded one assist in a Wild 4-1 win over the Blackhawks Friday night.

Spurgeon has found a way onto the stat sheet of late for the Wild, picking up six assists over his last eight games for the club. The veteran stay-at-home defenseman makes most of his impact in his own zone for gritty Minnesota club, carrying a +13 plus/minus while posting just 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in 30 games so far this season.
