Alexandar Georgiev puts away former team

Alexandar Georgiev made 44 stops in a valiant effort in New York on Tuesday. He backstopped the Avalanche to a 3-2 shootout win while posting a .957 save percentage.
Fantasy Impact:
The first goal came on a 3-on-2 where Barclay Goodrow just snuck the puck underneath him while moving laterally. The Avalanche were able to pot two and regain the lead until Adam Fox made a nice play to create yet another odd-man rush and put it home. The game went to a shootout and the only one who could get past him was Artemi Panarin. He ended the game with a nice blocker stab on Alex Lafreniere and was visibly pumped up stealing the game in his former barn. The effort brings his record to 4-0-1 and is looking like the better option between the pipes in Colorado right now.
