Mackenzie Blackwood was traded to the Colorado Avalanche along with Givani Smith and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick in exchange for Alexandar Georgiev, Nikolai Kovalenko, a 2025 fifth-round draft pick, and a 2026 second-round pick to the San Jose Sharks. (Colorado Avalanche on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Blackwood will look to fortify a No.1 goaltending spot that has been in flux for m much of the season for a Colorado lineup that scores in bunches most nights. The netminder carries a .911 save percentage and 3.00 GAA in 19 appearances (6-9-3, one shutout) between the pipes behind a questionable San Jose lineup so far this season.
