Ilya Mikheyev suffers lower-body injury

Ilya Mikheyev suffered a lower-body injury in a Sept. 25 exhibition game against the Calgary Flames. Head coach Bruce Boudreau said the ailment would keep the winger out "week to week." (Ben Kuzma on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is not welcomed news for a player coming off a career year last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mikheyev erupted for career highs in goals (21), points (32), and shots on goal (147) a season ago. Opening night still appears to be in play but we should know closer to the Canucks' regular-season opener on Oct. 12 against the Edmonton Oilers.
