Ilya Mikheyev buried a goal 4:44 into the third period to make it a 5-3 game in favor of Toronto. He also provided the secondary helper on Zach Hyman's eventual game-winning goal with 27 seconds remaining in regulation to put Toronto up 6-4. The Maple Leafs would win the contest 6-5 in regulation.
