Not only was he evaluated for a concussion at the end of Tennessee's loss to Minnesota, but the Titans' upcoming schedule looks pretty tough on running backs. Spears only handled three rushing attempts and caught two passes, amassing exactly eight scrimmage yards. It was his second game back from an ankle injury, and the Titans were stifled by the swarming Vikings defense. Road tests in Houston and Washington await Spears if he's healthy. He might be worth the stash for Week 14, when the Titans have a date with the Jaguars.

The team recently reported that Spears is going through the NFL's concussion protocols, and he was unable to practice on Wednesday as a result. It remains to be seen if he will get cleared to play prior to Sunday's game against the Texans, but if not, expect Tony Pollard to see a large workload with Julius Chestnut playing the backup role for Tennessee.
