Trevor Lawrence

Lawrence has been a disappointing QB2 in fantasy this season (QB23). I don't see that changing in Week 3. Lawrence ranks 14th in yards per attempt, 22nd in passer rating, and 23rd in CPOE. He faces a nasty Bills' pass defense that has shut down quarterbacks. Buffalo has allowed the third-lowest yards per attempt, the seventh-lowest passer rating, and the 14th-lowest CPOE.

Trevor Lawrence completed just 14-of-30 pass attempts for 220 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Jaguars' 18-13 loss to the Browns. He did run for 45 yards on two rushing attempts, salvaging his fantasy day.

Fantasy Impact

Lawrence was awful to start this game, having completed five passes for less than 20 yards at one point early on. The Jags got going late, but it wasn't enough to pull out the win. Lawrence has started off the year slow and Jacksonville will need him to pick things up if they are going to contend for a playoff spot. For fantasy, his rushing saved the day but it's hard to trust him as anything more than a QB2 until he shows more ability.
