Cooper Rush

Since Week 11, Rush has been the QB29 in fantasy points per game. His per-dropback metrics have also been in the toilet all year. Among 45 qualifying quarterbacks, Rush ranks 41st in yards per attempt, 31st in passer rating, 33rd in CPOE, and 40th in fantasy points per dropback. Rush will remain a basement-level QB2 this week to wrap up the regular season. Since Week 12, Washington has allowed the third-fewest yards per attempt, the third-lowest passer rating, and the fourth-lowest CPOE.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy would not comment on who will be the starter in Week 18's season finale between QB Cooper Rush and Trey Lance.

Fantasy Impact

Rush has started eight games for the Cowboys this season, going 4-4 and averaging 209.6 passing yards per game in his starts. While there were some expectations among fans that Lance would see action this season, the young QB (acquired for a mid-round pick in 2023) has barely played (20 snaps all season). It remains to be seen who starts in Week 18, but it has been all Rush since Dak Prescott's injury.
