Amon-Ra St. Brown Week 2 Outlook - Buccaneers at Lions

By Mick Ciallela (Fantrax), Wed, Sep 11th 2024, 10:25pm EDT

It was a bit of a shock to the system to see Amon-Ra St. Brown record just 13 yards in Detroit's Sunday night victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Especially considering that he averaged 105.7 receiving yards in seven games at Ford Field last season. I believe a bounceback performance is in store for St. Brown in Week 2. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered multiple injuries to their secondary in Week 1. Free safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is expected to miss multiple weeks. Third-round rookie and converted safety Tykee Smith operated as Tampa Bay's slot cornerback last week. He allowed catches on all four passes in his direction. The emergence of Jameson Williams should allow St. Brown to operate freely underneath and post high reception and yardage totals in Week 2.
