Tom was expected to start doing 11-on-11 work at practice as he returns to team drills. The Packers open up the preseason on Saturday against the Browns where it is unclear if Tom will play.

“It’s tough on the line right now,” LaFleur said. Tom was activated from the PUP list a couple of weeks ago and it appears he is close to being back to full strength on the offensive line for Green Bay.
The Packers activated Zach Tom from the PUP list on Monday.

Tom was only on the PUP list for the last week after suffering a torn pectoral muscle in the spring. He figures to remain at right tackle for Green Bay where he started all of last season.
