Week 9 Outlook
Availability
Zach Hocker accounted for the Rams total scoring on Sunday with the lone field goal coming from 35 yards against the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
Zach Hocker has barely hit the scoresheet since being pressed into duty for the injured Greg Zuerlein. Hocker can be left on the waiver wire heading into the fantasy playoffs.
Per Ian Rapoport, the Saints have released kicker Zach Hocker and are signing Kai Forbath.
Fantasy Impact
Clearly the Saints were not happy with the inaccuracy that Hocker displayed on Thursday. Forbath will have the same relevancy as Hocker, the offense must move the ball for Forbath to be a factor.
Zach Hocker was one for three on field goal attempts and four for four on extra points on Thursday against the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
Things finally set up for Hocker, as the offense was moving the ball and he was finally able to put up som points. The two missed field goals will not instill much confidence going forward, and for now owners should look elsewhere than Hocker.
Zach Hocker was one for one on field goals and two for two on extra points against the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Hocker was perfect on the day, but unfortunately can only be as productive as the offense allows him to be. Until the Saints start moving the ball more consistently, owners should look for other options in the kicking game.
Zach Hocker was two for three on field goal attempts and two for two on extra points on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
It was a nice bounce back for Hocker, after really struggling the week before. While the 51 yard field goal was nice, he did miss a short, 30 yard attempt at the end of regulation. If the offense is no longer elite, Hocker will need to be much more automatic to be considered a strong fantasy play week in and week out.
