Xavier Rhodes
CB -
Week 11 Outlook
Availability
The Dallas Cowboys have signed Xavier Rhodes to their practice squad.
Fantasy Impact
Rhodes, who was waived by Buffalo earlier in the week, will have a chance to help support the Dallas' defense in the playoffs. Rhodes suited up in two games this season, tallying four tackles during his time with the Bills.
Xavier Rhodes (hamstring) is unlikely to play against Baltimore Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Rhodes recently signed with the Bills this week, but is unlikely to suit up in Week 4. The Bills' secondary have been decimated by injuries early this season. With the potential explosiveness of the Ravens' offense, the Bills D/ST is a risky play in Week 4.
According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Buffalo Bills are signing veteran CB Xavier Rhodes to help fill the holes in their injury-riddled defense.
Fantasy Impact
The Bills were without three Pro Bowl-caliber defenders in CB Tre'Davious White and S Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde in their loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. While Rhodes won't be a game-changer most likely, he will add veteran skill to a defense that is suddenly thin in the secondary. Regardless, the Bills defense has looked amazing to start the season in large part due to the defensive line play, which will make life easier for Rhodes and the other DBs while Buffalo waits for their talent to get healthy again.
Xavier Rhodes wil remain sidelined for the Colts Week 2 game against the Rams.
Fantasy Impact
We saw big games out of Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf last week against this Colts secondary without Rhodes. Fire up your Rams starters this week, especially Cooper Kupp while Robert Woods has a good chance to see more targets.
Indianapolis Colts CB Xavier Rhodes (calf) did not participate during Wednesday's practice due to a lingering calf injury.
Fantasy Impact
Rhodes continues to miss time with a calf injury that kept him sidelined during a Week 1 blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Colts will hope to have him healthy by the time Week 2 kicks off against the Los Angeles Rams, who torched the Chicago Bears with over 300 passing yards and three touchdowns. With Darius Leonard also missing practice, it's a good idea to fade the Colts D/ST, while also prioritizing all Rams receiving options in lineups for the Week 2 game in Indianapolis.
