Xavier Grimble catches one pass in win over the Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers Tight End Xavier Grimble caught one pass for 2 yards in the Steelers’ 28-24 win over the Browns.

Fantasy Impact

Grimble is the Steelers third-string TE and should not be played in daily leagues during the playoffs.

Xavier Grimble catches one pass in loss to the Patriots

Pittsburgh Steelers Tight End Xavier Grimble caught one pass for eight yards in the Steelers’ 27-24 loss to the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Grimble is clearly third in the Steelers Tight End pecking order behind Jesse James and Vance McDonald. While the matchup next week against the Houston Texans is a favorable one, Grimble should remain on the waiver wire in even the deepest leagues.

Xavier Grimble targeted twice in Steelers win over the Ravens

Pittsburgh Steelers Tight End Xavier Grimble was targeted twice but caught zero passes in the Steelers’ thrilling 39-38 comeback victory over the Baltimore.

Fantasy Impact

Grimble is clearly third in the Pittsburgh Tight End pecking order behind Jesse James and Vance McDonald. While a good game isn’t out of the question, it is impossible to predict. Leave Grimble on your waiver wires.

Xavier Grimble catches one pass in win over the Bengals

Pittsburgh Steelers Tight End Jesse James caught one pass for nine yards off of three targets in the Steelers’ 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Impact

For you, Rob Gronkowski owners out there, don’t even think of picking up any of the Steelers Tight Ends this week or all season. All of the Steelers TEs belong on the waiver wires even in the deepest of leagues.

Xavier Grimble re-signs with Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed tight end Xavier Grimble to a one-year deal Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Grimble, who caught 11 targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns in 2016, was re-signed to a one-year deal Wednesday. This could be an indication of the future of Ladarius Green, whose rumored to be cut due to his health issues this offseason. If Green is indeed released, Grimble will compete with Jesse James for the starting tight end position in 2017. However, if Green is retained, expect Grimble to assume a similar role that he played last season.
