Weston Richburg

Week 13 Outlook
Availability
San Francisco center Weston Richburg is hopeful to play in Week 4 of the preseason and be ready to go for the regular-season opener.
Fantasy Impact
With Jimmy Garoppolo coming off a torn ACL that forced him to miss most of last season, a strong offensive line is of the utmost importance right now. Richburg's return would be a positive boost for Garoppolo's fantasy outlook.
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that former Giants offensive lineman Weston Richburg will sign a five-year deal with the 49ers when free agency officially opens.
Fantasy Impact
While there are a lot of big-name signings going on, this one has slipped under the radar. Richburg started every game for the Giants from 2014-2016, but suffered a concussion in Week 4 last season that forced him onto Injured Reserve. It's notable, as offensive lineman take the brunt of the hits that aren't felt through the public, but they have it worse than anyone. Taking on Richburg with a five-year commitment is taking a lot of risk, but one that could present tons of upside. He was one of the bright spots on the Giants offensive line over the last four years and should give Jimmy Garoppolo some added protection.
