Jackson is joining Minnesota's active roster after they placed WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring) on IR. They have K.J. Osborn and rookie Jordan Addison starting now, but they very badly need depth behind those guys. Jackson will get a chance to carve out a role for himself over the next few weeks, but he won't be involved enough to be relevant for fantasy purposes.
Trishton Jackson caught both of his targets on Saturday for seven yards and a touchdown as the Rams lost to the Chargers in preseason action.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson made the team as a rookie free agent out of Syracuse last year but didn't see the field during the 2020 regular season. The 23-year-old receiver is a long shot to carve out a meaningful role and return fantasy value out of the gate this year.
