Thompson, 26, did not practice at all this week due to his injury and will miss his first game since joining the Steelers' active roster. He has played in six games this season, seeing more snaps as time has gone on. He will be inactive, though, alongside QB Kenny Pickett, CB Darius Rush, S Minkah Fitzpatrick, LB Blake Martinez, T Dylan Cook and DE DeMarvin Leal.
The Steelers have elevated S Trenton Thompson from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game with the Packers.

Thompson has yet to appear in a game this season. The 25-year-old’s elevation will provide the Steelers’ with some depth in their secondary against Jordan Love and the Packers.
