Week 17 Outlook
Availability
Tre McBride was waived by the Jaguars on Saturday, Phillip Heilman of The Athletic reports.
Fantasy Impact
McBride had a strong preseason with the team but fell victim to the numbers game. He is not eligible for the practice squad and will have to see if he can get picked up by another team.
Tre McBride caught three of seven targets, totaling 37 receiving yards during Thursday's 31-12 preseason loss to the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
Tre McBride led all Jaguars receivers in total yards in the preseason which should help his case as he tries to make the team. If the former seventh-round pick does end up on the final roster he will be at the end of the depth chart and will have no fantasy value.
Tre McBride caught four passes on five targets for 47 yards on Thursday as the Jaguars lost to the Eagles by a 24-10 score.
Fantasy Impact
McBride has now caught seven passes over two preseason games as the 26-year-old receiver tries to win a job on the team. The odds are stacked against McBride who is ninth on the depth chart and if he does make the roster he will not be worth owning in fantasy.
Tre McBride caught three passes on five targets for 18 yards as the Jaguars lost to the Ravens on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
McBride was drafted in 2015 and has bounced around the league since and has just 10 career catches. The receiver will probably not make the Jaguars and if he does he will not be fantasy relevant.
Tre McBride finished Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with two catches for 20 yards.
Fantasy Impact
McBride has been an inconsistent fantasy option for owners. He should not be started in leagues.
