Trayvon Mullen Jr. was carted to the locker room during practice on Saturday with the Ravens.
Fantasy Impact
It was reportedly an upper body injury for Mullen. There should be an update on his status when available.
According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, CB Trayvon Mullen Jr. is being placed on the non-football injury list with an undisclosed injury.
Fantasy Impact
Mullen, who is the cousin of Lamar Jackson, re-signed with the Ravens in March after being claimed on the waivers by them in January. A week ago, the Ravens released Mullen due to a failure to disclose a non-football injury, but they re-signed him, a sign they like the player. His NFI designation means he will miss at least four games, though Zrebiec thinks it may end his season. The Ravens continue to deal with injuries in the secondary as both Mullen and CB Rock Ya-Sin have current injuries, poor timing after the recent departure of Pro Bowl CB Marcus Peters. The Ravens will need to rely on a mixture of Jalyn Armour-Davis, Kyu Blu Kelly and Daryl Worley in defense.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, DB Trayvon Mullen is returning to the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal.
Fantasy Impact
Mullen, the cousin of QB Lamar Jackson, was claimed off waivers by the Ravens in January but never played a game for the team. They bring back the former second-rounder to add depth to their secondary.
Trayvon Mullen Jr. was listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
Mullen was able to get in a limited practice all week, so it appears like he has a good chance of suiting up this weekend for Arizona. He was acquired from the Raiders last month and missed Week 1, so it sounds like he has a shot of making his Cardinals debut on Sunday.
The Las Vegas Raiders trained CB Trayvon Mullen to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional 7th round draft pick.
Fantasy Impact
A very good move to provide some CB depth for the Cardinals. Mullen is a former second round draft pick that will get a new start as a member of the Cardinals. The 24-year old is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
