Lawson was hosted for a visit on Tuesday before signing with Carolina. He'll add a veteran presence to a banged up defensive line for the Panthers.

Lawson is beginning his second stint with the Bills, but the pass rush in Buffalo has improved over the offseason. Lawson is taking a backseat among a young pass rush including Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau. Von Miller should see extra playing time as well. Los Angeles' pass protection is vulnerable due to injury and the retirement of T Andrew Whitworth, so QB Matthew Stafford could be under pressure often.

Shaq Lawson has agreed to return to Buffalo on a one-year deal.

The former first-round pick by the Bills returns after two years elsewhere. The six-year veteran has tallied six forced fumbles, one interception, and 13 pass deflections in his career. He joins a Buffalo defense that was first in the league last year and should be the first or second off the board in fantasy drafts this year.

The Jets acquired LB Shaq Lawson from the Texans in exchange for a 2022 sixth-round pick.

Houston acquired Lawson earlier this offseason but he eventually became a situational player for them. The Jets lost Carl Lawson earlier this month, which is likely what prompted this trade.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Dolphins are sending Shaq Lawson to the Texans in exchange for Benardrick McKinney.

After a down season for McKinney, the swap of Lawson for him makes alot of sense for both sides. Lawson is 26 and a change of scenery may be best to help revitalize the once first rounders stock. McKinney was on the outs and was being shopped by the Texans for months. The trade is a win-win for both teams.
