Roosevelt Nix

Week 18 Outlook
Availability
The Colts released FB Roosevelt Nix.
Fantasy Impact
Nix was the only true fullback on the Colts' roster. He had signed with the team back in April.
Roosevelt Nix is signing a one-year deal with the Colts.
Fantasy Impact
Nix was the highest rated fullback left in free agency and will boost the Colts' rushing attack. He is known as a good blocker and played five seasons for the Steelers. Nix made the Pro Bowl in 2017 and is also recognized for his outstanding play on special teams. The 28-year-old is not fantasy relevant, but his presence improves Colts starting RB Marlon Mack's value.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fullback Roosevelt Nix ran the ball twice at the goal line for -1 yards and caught one pass for 5 yards in the Steelers’ 28-24 win over the Browns.
Fantasy Impact
Roosevelt Nix, the master of the one-yard run and catch actually caught a pass for five yards in Week 17. Used previously at the goal line to vulture touchdowns away from players that were actually started such as Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Nix was unsuccessful running the ball twice on the goal line and not getting into the end zone.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fullback Roosevelt Nix had one carry, for one yard, and one touchdown in the Steelers’ 34-6 win over the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Impact
This is actually Nix’s second touchdown of the year. The first, a one-yard catch for a touchdown three weeks ago on a Monday night game against the Bengals. While Nix may run or catch for the occasional touchdown on a Monday night, he isn’t even remotely fantasy relevant.
Pittsburgh Steelers Fullback caught one pass for one yard and a touchdown in the Steelers’ thrilling 39-38 comeback victory over the Baltimore.
Fantasy Impact
This was only Nix’s 5th career reception and first career touchdown in his three-year career. Nix is primarily used as a blocker, and should not, I REPEAT, SHOULD NOT be looked at as a viable fantasy option.
