ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Dallas Cowboys and running back Ronnie Hillman have agreed to terms on an undisclosed deal.
Fantasy Impact
Regarding the Hillman move, Schefter believes it "could be an indication of concern over [the] NFL's decision on Ezekiel Elliott." Although the league has yet to make its decision on Elliott and his potential ban, we could learn a verdict Thursday, as Hillman's signing was announced in the early morning. With Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris listed as the No. 2 and No. 3 running backs on the depth chart, Hillman will likely enter training camp as the team's RB4.
San Diego Chargers running back Ronnie Hillman carried the ball seven times for 41 yards and caught three balls for 50 yards in the team's regular-season finale against Kansas City.
Fantasy Impact
Hillman was solid in the last game of the season for the Chargers. However, he doesn't have much long-term fantasy value for the team or fantasy coaches.
San Diego running back Ronnie Hillman carried the ball nine times for six yards in the Chargers loss to Cleveland Sunday. Hillman failed to catch either of his two targets in the passing game.
Fantasy Impact
Hillman saw the same amount of carries as starter Kenneth Farrow and also got some goal line work. As long as Melvin Gordon continues to miss time the Chargers will likely split the carries between the two running backs.
San Diego Chargers running back Ronnie Hillman carried the ball seven times for 34 yards in the team's loss to the Raiders Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
Hillman got some work as the primary backup running back but isn't worth rostering unless starter Melvin Gordon is out for an extended amount of time.
Newly acquired running back Ronnie Hillman was inactive for the team's game against Houston on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
The Chargers signed Hillman on Tuesday. He could be active next week after the veteran gets some time to acclimate to the team's offense.
